Lion Of God

The pendant is handcrafted with casting solid sterling silver and of course with lots of love!

I created a pendant that would have lots of meaning to invoke good spirits and good luck.  I designed a lion because the name Arielle means lion of god. The lion represents the embodiment of the qualities that the lion symbolizes within me.  This necklace would be a talisman for a guide in life.  The main of the lion is a Mandela with the design of a lotus that signifies purity and good soul.  I chose the concept of a mandala because going to India became a very significant part of my life where I found myself and my soulmate.  I wanted the piece to represent my culture so I designed the middle of the piece to be written in Hebrew to represent courage, daringness and strength.  With all the meanings the lion embodies, the piece has been created to make myself become the person I want to be.

Step 1: Designing the pendant on Rhino software to be 3D printed in casting wax.

Step 2: The 3D printed casting wax lion to put into the mold.

Step 3: Pouring molten sterling silver into the mold. After cooling, you have the lion casted in silver on a sprue.

Step 4: After sanding and buffing you have the finished product.
